Description:

Reporting to the Scientific Lead, the Research Associate in Image Processing/Analysis will provide research support to the BIOTIC team and will be responsible for assisting with the oversight and planning of translational research developing new medical imaging analyses, in particular for MR image data, applying statistical and machine learning methods to medical imaging data, and mentoring students. Experience in comprehensive data analysis and sound knowledge of applied statistics and machine learning is required.

Responsibilities:

Programming / Data Analysis This Research Associate position will primarily be involved in: Developing analysis and simulation code for MRI data and, Applying statistical analysis and machine learning approaches to the classification of MR images. Depending on experience, the Research Associate may also be involved in: Statistical analysis and machine learning applications to functional neuroimaging data, including MEG/EEG, and Analysis and/or reconstruction of PET/SPECT image data. Writing Prepare manuscripts for publication Prepare draft presentations and posters relating to research.
