Description:

EIBI Provincial Ph.D. Psychologist:The main function of the EIBI PhD Psychologist in the EIBI Clinical Leadership team is to facilitate a sustainable and high quality approach to delivering the Nova Scotia EIBI Treatment model. The EIBI Provincial PhD Psychologists will possess the academic, research base and clinical skills and knowledge that support the Provincial Trainers and staff in the delivery of care. Responsibilities include: Preparing and supporting the Provincial Trainers to act as the key trainers for the Nova Scotia Treatment model including but not limited to Pivotal Response Treatment. Contributing to program level decision making on a provincial basis. Contributing to assessing the aggregated clinical effectiveness results of the Nova Scotia Treatment Model. Contributing to determining training and consultation priorities across the province. Maintenance of competencies required by the Nova Scotia EIBI Treatment Model. May involve direct assessment and intervention with children and families depending on service delivery needs.
