Description:

We now have an excellent opportunity for a Project Manager to join our team on an initial 6 month contracts. You will be responsible for the delivery of projects as part of a major transition program. Ability to delivery outcomes via a distributed leveraged team is essential, along with clear communication at all levels of the business. PRINCE2 certification/experience preferred. Experience in managing IP Telephony, Network, Service Management, Identity Management, Contact Centre or Data Centre related projects would be highly regarded.

Responsibilities:

Takes full responsibility for the end-to-end management and coordination definition, documentation and satisfactory completion of projects; Ensures that realistic project and quality plans are prepared and maintained and provides regular and accurate reports to stakeholders as appropriate; Undertake consultation with stakeholders to ensure that objectives and requirements for the successful completion of each phase of the project are fully understood and will be delivered; Ensure constant communication with all project staff to identify potential problems, formulate recommendations, solutions and reports; Provides effective leadership to the project team, and takes appropriate action where team performance deviates from agreed tolerances; Facilitates open communication and discussion between stakeholders, using feedback to assess and promote understanding of the need for future changes in services, products and systems; Uses consistent processes for identifying potential risk events, quantifying and documenting the probability of occurrence and the impact on the business; Co-ordinates the development of countermeasures and contingency plans. Manage project budget allocation for assigned projects, including preparation of financial status reports for the Program Manager, Steering Committees and Executive.
