Job Title- IT Analyst
Contract Duration- 4 Years
Work Location- Chai Chee Road
Working Hours: 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM
Job Responsibilities
The Candidate will be responsible to ensure all the applications systems remain in good working order.
The Candidate is expected to take on support of new application systems when they become operational.
The Candidate will respond to production emergencies in a timely manner based on Client’s service Level. This includes bringing up the server (in a crash) or system processes, fixing problems or finding workarounds.
The Candidate is expected to diligently perform routine checks and to escalate to the Project Manager should any anomaly be detected. The Candidate should show the initiative to alert and troubleshoot together with other system engineers, database administrator (DBA) and outsourced vendors.
The Candidate is expected to follow through every issue / problem to closure, and complete the necessary documentation as required by Client.
The Candidate will assist users and answer queries regarding the supported operational systems.
The Candidate is expected to interface with the helpdesk agents, end-users, integrated applications support teams and external vendors during application support and problem resolution.
The Candidate is expected to be on standby support on off-office-hours / weekends / public holidays when needed such as during scheduled maintenance, system crash or system upgrade exercise.
Besides application support, the Candidate is also expected to document changes/enhancements that arise from service requests. The Candidate will follow the Client’s technical standards and update the necessary documentation.
The candidate shall report to the Project Manager in tracking and managing the project timelines and resources that he/she has been assigned to undertake.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• The Candidate shall have a degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
• The Candidate shall have at least FIVE (5) years of working experience in IT development, with exposure to end-to-end software development lifecycle (system analysis and design; full stack development & testing) and shall have work experience in system support, troubleshooting and maintaining software applications (web / mobile).
• The Candidate shall have at least FOUR (4) years of development experience in using the Microsoft .Net framework (ASP.NET), .NET Core framework, MVC and be proficient in C#.NET or similar web development frameworks.
• The Candidate shall have development experience and be proficient in the following front-end technologies: JavaScript, AJAX, HTML, CSS and JQuery, JSON and XML.
• The Candidate shall have at least FOUR (4) years of work experience with one or more of the following relational databases (MySQL, MS-SQL) and be proficient in writing optimized SQL queries/stored procedures.
• The Candidate shall have experience in developing web / mobile applications using REST based web services and APIs.
• The Candidate shall have working experience with AWS cloud computing (e.g AWS S3, EC2, RDS, AWS SDK for .NET and AWS CLI, Lambda, etc).
• The Candidate is preferred to have working experience in using analytical tools for retrieving and inspecting logs, preferably Splunk, Firebase and Crashlytics.
• The Candidate is preferred to have working experience in Agile methodologies and SCRUM.
• The Candidate is preferred to have working experience in government agency environment with exposure to IM8, WOGAA, Digital Service Standards, and/or other Singapore government security policies compliance requirements.
• The Candidate is preferred to have working experience in developing mobile applications, either native or using frameworks like React Native or Flutter; and submitting mobile applications to Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
• The candidate is preferred to have knowledge of Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS) and experience in deploying containerised applications on EKS infrastructure.
• The Candidate is preferred to have working experience in using automation testing tools for automating testcases either for web or mobile applications.
• The Candidate is preferred to be open to learning new technologies, frameworks, and programming languages to meet the demands of the workplace.
• The Candidate shall have a minimum of TWO (2) years of work experience in Singapore.
