The Aboriginal Allied Health Cadet is employed in a learning capacity to work towards attaining competency as an Allied Health Professional.
The work placement will be planned to complement the theoretical component of the cadet’s course of study. SWS will take responsibility to determine the level at which the Cadet functions and the allied health duties they can perform throughout the work placement of the cadetship.
Delegation of allied health responsibility and practice will be the responsibility of the supervising Allied Health Professional and will be commensurate with the Cadet’s level of undergraduate education and achievement of clinical competence.
