As an Account Executive for Emerging Enterprise at ThoughtSpot, you’ll be at the forefront of revolutionizing how businesses harness the power of data and generative AI. Your target market will be companies with 1000-5000 employees, a segment ripe with opportunity and growth potential.

  • To track record in generating new business within a corporate, SaaS , B2B sales environment - we are only interested in speaking with individuals that can demonstrate self-sufficient success and the ability to find, manage and close high-value deals.
  • Minimum of 5 years sales experience, preferably with at least 3 in data and analytics, or other cloud / SaaS solutions where analytics has played a part
  • Experience selling into the Nordics/Benelux regions (Additional languages is a plus)
  • Experience in solution / value based selling to extract maximum value
  • Ambition, motivation and smart thinking
  • Passion as a self-starter who is self-directed and able to execute independently
  • The ability to think target-oriented, highly motivated individual who wants to win whilst always doing the right thing for the customer and for ThoughtSpot
  • The desire to try new things to get the best results; thinks quickly and thrives in an entrepreneurial environment
  • Strong team spirit and enjoys working effectively in collaboration with others
  • Passion for execution of a standardised sales process, ideally leveraging a known methodology e.g. MEDDICC, Sandler, Challenger.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills and a consultative approach to close business

Responsibilities:

WHAT YOU’LL DO?

  • Generate new opportunities from targeted outbound activity through your own activities (Outbound, Tech Alliances, Partners) as well as working with your SDR counterpart Outbound pipeline generation is a key requirement for this role.
  • Sell into the EMEA North region, covering UK&I, Nordics, and Benelux regions
  • Engage with senior decision-makers across a wide TAM/SAM selling our ThoughtSpot Analytics and ThoughtSpot embedded software
  • Consistently overachieve upon new business target against a quarterly quota
  • Contribute towards on-boarding and training of the lead generation and junior sales team, through best practice sharing and coaching
  • Orchestrate complex sales cycles, engaging with both technical and business stakeholders (Three-legged stool)
  • Implement a “land-and-expand” strategy to consistently close new deals and drive expansions
  • Collaborate with customers, partners, and the broader ecosystem in a consultative sales process
  • Maintain strategic oversight of your accounts, ensuring engagements achieve their intended outcomes
