Position Summary
The Account Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth and building long-term relationships with customers across a defined territory. This role combines technical knowledge with consultative selling skills to deliver solutions in process instrumentation, valves, regulators, and related flow control products. The ideal candidate is motivated by solving customer challenges, expanding accounts, and contributing to the continued success of Accutech and Flow Control Group.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of existing customer accounts while developing new business opportunities within the territory.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with engineers, purchasing teams, and decision-makers.
  • Provide consultative sales support by understanding customer applications and recommending appropriate instrumentation and flow control solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (inside sales, operations, customer service) to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Meet or exceed sales goals, revenue targets, and margin expectations.
  • Maintain accurate records of opportunities, forecasts, and account activity in CRM.
  • Stay current on industry trends, product offerings, and competitor activity.
  • Represent Accutech and Flow Control Group at trade shows, training sessions, and customer events as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
  • 2+ years of sales, account management, or customer-facing experience in industrial distribution, instrumentation, valves, flow control, or related technical industries preferred.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to understand technical products and convey solutions to customers in simple terms.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to manage a sales territory with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
  • Valid driver’s license with ability to travel throughout the territory (up to 30–40%).
