Base Salary - $30-35k w/ REALISTIC/EXPECTED Year 1 OTE = $100-125k (UNCAPPED)
Our partner is looking to add an Account Manager to their already fantastic and well-established team. As a provider of production equipment and replacement parts, serving commercial construction contractors across the United States and Canada, our partner is looking for an Account Manager to manage an assigned geographic territory for cross-sell and upsell opportunities. The ideal candidate will develop and maintain strong customer relationships, manage account activities, respond promptly to inquiries, and consistently grow the customer base.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3–5 years of proven experience in account management or sales (industrial sales preferred).
  • Strong background in telephone sales highly desirable.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service abilities.
  • Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
  • Effective time management with a proven track record of meeting deadlines.
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate as needed.
  • Highly self-motivated with a strong work ethic and drive to succeed.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and occasionally high-pressure environment.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct both inbound and outbound calls to existing customers and potential new clients within the assigned territory.
  • Build strong, lasting relationships by understanding customer business needs and driving retention and growth.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including upselling products to both existing and prospective customers.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of product offerings to ensure they align with customer needs.
  • Analyze customer data to anticipate future needs based on historical trends.
  • Provide timely and effective responses to inquiries via phone and email.
  • Monitor customer accounts, including follow-up on overdue payments.
  • Resolve customer complaints efficiently, including handling returns and coordinating solutions.
  • Review and act on the open order report weekly;follow up on outstanding purchase orders and ensure complete documentation for invoicing.
  • Ensure accuracy in all sales processes, including quoting equipment and parts, entering purchase orders, updating shipping details, and uploading documentation to the appropriate database.
  • Source appropriate vendors as needed to fulfill orders.
  • Meet shipping deadlines and communicate any delays promptly;prepare orders for shipment when required.
  • Follow up on marketing campaign reports (e.G., equipment/parts e-blasts) and initiate customer outreach as necessary.
