ABOUT PALLON

At Pallon, a spin-off from ETH Zurich, we’re creating AI that automatically detects defects in sewer inspection videos and advises cities on when & how to fix them. By providing more precise, objective data, we aim to fix wastewater leaks, reduce CO2 emissions, and prevent urban flooding. Our mission is to make cities more sustainable and resilient.
In this role, you will work with the Customer Success and Sales Teams, collaborating closely with Sales representatives, Customer Success Managers, and Technical Support Engineers to ensure that clients maximize the value of our solutions.
As an Account Manager, your focus will be on managing and expanding relationships with existing clients, driving revenue growth through upselling and cross-selling, and ensuring long-term customer satisfaction. You will work with municipalities, engineering firms, and inspection companies to help them optimize their use of Pallon’s AI-powered defect detection solutions.

We’re a fast-growing company, and the challenges you will face are diverse and evolving. Some of the tasks you’ll be working on include:

  • Managing a portfolio of existing clients, ensuring high levels of engagement and retention. The main focus will be on the Swiss market, with additional clients in Germany and Austria.
  • Identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities to maximize account value and increase customer adoption of Pallon’s services.
  • Leading contract renewal discussions and securing long-term commitments from clients.
  • Developing strong relationships with decision-makers in municipalities, engineering firms, and inspection companies.
  • Acting as the trusted advisor for clients, helping them understand the ROI of Pallon’s solutions and providing strategic guidance on their sewer management processes.
  • Ensuring seamless onboarding of new users within existing accounts to expand product usage.
  • Tracking account health metrics and proactively addressing risks to reduce churn.

REQUIREMENTS

  • +3 years of experience in B2B account management, customer success, or consultative sales, ideally in SaaS, AI, industrial technology, or infrastructure-related industries.
  • Fluency in German & English required.
  • A proven track record of expanding customer accounts, increasing contract values, and securing renewals.
  • Strong consultative sales skills, with experience in upselling, cross-selling, and negotiating long-term contracts.
  • The ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in municipalities, engineering firms, or inspection companies.
  • Experience in customer engagement strategies, proactively identifying and addressing client needs to improve retention.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools (HubSpot, or similar) for tracking account performance and managing renewals.
