POSITION DESCRIPTION

Working as part of the Coporate Banking team, serving the long-term needs of top Australian corporations and financial institutions. Your role will provide you with a valuable analytical and client focused work experience focused on the financial markets that will give you true insight into life as a corporate banker and a strong platform to launch your career.
Our specialized product teams focus on corporate lending, corporate finance, mergers & acquisitions, ratings analysis and capital markets working directly with the origination bankers to seamlessly help clients grow their businesses. The origination teams are organized by country, industry or product coverage.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor Degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Accounting, Law or other relevant area
  • Excellent in communication and proficient in English
  • Strong numeric and analytical skills and ability to apply these to client situations
  • 1-3 years experience in a corporate and investment bank, Big 4 major accounting firm, transaction services or rating agency would be looked upon favorably
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Understanding of credit risk, cash flow and balance sheet assessment
