Selection Criteria Desirable: Tertiary qualifications appropriate to the position such as registered nurse, social work, or psychology. • Certificate IV, or Diploma in Alcohol and other Drugs or a Postgraduate course in Addiction • Minimum qualifications of the Alcohol and Other Drug Skill set
Essential: Demonstrated experience in issues relating to AOD use and misuse
Essential: Demonstrated experience in working both independently and as a part of a multi- disciplinary team
Essential: High level written and verbal communication skills as well as computer literacy
Essential: Current Victorian Driver’s Licenc
Peninsula Health currently has a opportunity for a passionate and client centered AOD Clinician to join our Alcohol and Other Drugs Program on a part-time basis. Working as part of a highly skilled multi-disciplinary team the counsellor will provide evidence-based psychotherapeutic interventions to promote recovery for clients experiencing substance use related harms.
