This is a remote position and can be located within the eastern, central or pacific time zones.
The Applications Developer is a technical position that requires understanding of Oracle Identity and Access Management and proven experience with integration to the platform components. The Oracle Identity and Access Management Developer is responsible for the design and development of complex solutions utilizing Oracle IAM stack. The roles main focus is targeted towards OUD, OIM, OAM and OAAM components and the design, provisioning, de-provisioning, and operational and management support aspects of these products. Scope of work is on individual components/programs of a given project. Customer relationships primarily involve information exchange working as a member of a project team. Focuses on best way to implement assigned code for project to minimize errors and improve maintainability. The ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing, is extremely important as this person will need to work with both technical and business resources at all levels to define solutions, relay technical issues or resolutions.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Extended OIM functionality using APIs
  • Develop and deploying custom connectors
  • Configure provisioning and reconciliation processes
  • Configure roles and access policies
  • Migrate OIM Components to multiple environments
  • Ability to collaborate with developers, system engineers, and software and/or business testers on System integration and end-to end testing
  • Researching business requirements, developing detailed specifications, and validating the Oracle-PeopleSoft solutions with business stakeholders
  • Communicating business stakeholder needs to the Oracle-PeopleSoft development team by translating business requirements into Oracle-PeopleSoft module requirements
  • Conducts analysis of systems specifications and uses the latest analysis/diagramming tools to represent business/technical processes
  • Develops conversion and system implementation plans
  • Work with technical teams to define/automate common administrative tasks such as provisioning and management of IAM products
  • Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software
  • Prioritization of day-to-day activities and long-term project-oriented tasks
  • Being able to work without direct supervision
  • The position requires excellent verbal and written communication skills

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent is required.
  • 3-5 years experience
  • Strong Java Development
  • Experience using java to interact with different sources such as Web Services (APIs), Databases, LDAPs, Flat Files.
  • Experience in assisting QA team with IAM platform support
  • High understanding of Oracle Support to resolve environment issues
  • Experience in delivering technical information support for analysts to refine requirements documentation - Availability to work occasional nights and weekends as needed
  • Hands-on development experience with OIM (11gR2, 12C preferred) in areas such as:
  • Connector Development
  • Role and Access Policy Development
  • Extending OIM functionality using APIs
  • Configuring provisioning, de-provisioning and reconciliation processes
  • Documented operational experience with IAM products, primarily OUD, OAM, OAAM
