We have a unique opportunity for an experienced Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Manager to join our senior leadership team at Brian Perry Civil (BPC). The team at BPC are specialists in their field and passionate about what they do, we are looking for these qualities in our next Northern Region Area Manager.
This role supports our key stakeholders across the business, you will be key to the implementation of our EHS strategy across our varied operations and leading your teams in the belief that all injuries are preventable. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant and meaningful impact, you will have the ability to influence and shape one of the biggest regions at BPC.
Alongside your industry knowledge you will also be a passionate people leader who enjoys guiding and inspiring teams. Experience working in large, complex organisations alongside expert technical knowledge, building and maintaining stakeholder relationships, proactiveness and a passion to get the job done is the foundation for success in this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Ability to lead to Fletcher Values of Protect, through your behaviours and actions.
  • Relevant experience in high-risk industry assisting complex operations in the environmental, health and safety industry
  • A comprehensive understanding of legislation, regulatory and other contract requirements in the construction industry
  • Prior experience as a lead auditor and lead investigator undertaking complex audits/investigations
  • Proven ability to interpret and practically apply specifications and standards within an operational framework
  • Proactive in driving environmental, health and safety and standardisation across a diverse and complex set of portfolios
  • Prior experience managing strategic issues with the ability to navigate complex challenges and develop solutions that align with the company goals
  • Leadership experience in a large complex organisation, supporting a large number of key stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent time management and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Able to motivate, influence and empower others to achieve individual and organisational goals
  • Clear thinker, able to identify opportunities and align others to a common approach
  • You will have the ability to align diverse teams, fostering collaboration and ensure everyone works towards shared goals.
