JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Product Consultant, you will be a core member of a cross-functional team that spans product strategy, commercial strategy, innovation, and user experience. We drive growth in our business by ensuring our solutions offer maximum value to our clients, a frictionless user experience, and the best answers to our clients’ most pressing problems.
You will be responsible for ensuring that software demos, proofs of concept (POCs), and implementations are optimally tailored to specific customer segments and use cases. Your work will directly impact new sales revenue and retention and shorten implementation times. You bring not only technical expertise, a passion for problem-solving, and a growth mindset, but also experience translating those skills into business impact for our customers.

Specifically, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Build and maintain a library of use case- and segment-specific demo environments for SaaS software solutions
  • Develop templated POCs to aid the sales process
  • Build a maintain a library of use case- and segment-specific implementation starter kits for use by Implementation Specialists and Project Managers
  • Partner with externally facing Product Consultants on the Solutions Delivery team to identify common end user requirements
  • Provide region-specific product support for cutting edge products newly launched by the innovation team
  • Improve operational processes and documentation

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience working in a fast-paced software development environment, ideally in an implementation/client facing role
  • Familiarity with KYC and Compliance viewed favorably
  • Degree in computer science, information technology, information systems, or computer engineering a plus
  • Strong knowledge of scripting (Python or other object orientated language) and API integrations (RESTful API)
  • Strong attention to detail with ability to successfully execute on multiple, simultaneous projects
  • Excellent communication, listening, and influencing skills
  • Ability to work efficiently with a solid sense for setting priorities
  • Ability to guide own learning and contribute to domain knowledge building
    For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is $123,100.00 - $178,450.00, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation. Moody’s also offers a competitive benefits package, including not but limited to medical, dental, vision, parental leave, paid time off, a 401(k) plan with employee and company contribution opportunities, life, disability, and accident insurance, a discounted employee stock purchase plan, and tuition reimbursement.
