Responsibilities:

Assume a leadership role in overseeing the Accounts Payable function.
Skilfully manage intricate accounting tasks, including job costing, across multiple business units.
Foster collaboration with international teams, including our partners in Papua New Guinea (PNG).
Work closely with the CFO, Assistant Accountant, and Accounts Payable team on project-related initiatives.
Implement and proficiently utilize job costing packages to ensure precise cost capture.
Ensure strict compliance with contractual and regulatory obligations.
Undertake comprehensive AP&AR functions for a PNG entity.
Prepare BAS and exercise master data management within a sizable ERP environment.
Maintain consistent and effective communication with internal stakeholders to promptly resolve discrepancies.
Tackle ad hoc responsibilities inherent to a dynamic and evolving corporate environment.
