Responsibilities:
- Hands on role, working closely with the F&B team to constantly drive improvement
- Assist with management of rosters and payroll costs
- Ordering and stock control
- Assist with creation of cocktail menus
- Full responsibility of all social and corporate events hosted in Hibiscus Bar & Terrace
- Training and development of all team members, communicating clearly at all times and with the F&B Manager, hold regular meetings with team to share, inspire and develop
- In conjunction with Sales & Marketing, assist with execution of promotional activities for the venue
- Work with the Food & Beverage Manager to identify ahead of time and respond to market trends, along with a focus on Hyatt’s Top 20 fundamentals in F&B Requirements
- Proven experience in a similar role
- Previous experience using Infrasys is highly regarded
- Cocktail and general wine knowledge
- Current RSA
- Current RMLV is advantageous
- Flexibility around working across all shifts including nights, weekends & public holidays
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Unlimited/Unrestricted work rights in Australia
