ABOUT THE ROLE

KEY DUTIES INCLUDE:
Act as the Farm Manager’s second in charge looking after farm systems, processes and operations
Identify opportunities to continuously improve operations with respect to quality, safety, and inventory
Perform oyster care and husbandry to ensure on-time and to quality level provision of oysters to agreed business supply expectations
Ensure the regular and systematics cleaning and maintenance of growing systems and all other related plant equipment
Operate farm machinery/equipment where licenced to do so, and general servicing and maintenance of farm vehicles, small motors and other equipment
Maintain a tidy and organised workshop and general ad-hoc duties
Ensure safe working practices are the centre of your working day
Help lead and mentor the farm team to be the best versions of themselves
Represent the business to the highest professional standards
