The Role
Epworth Geelong is seeking a motivated, innovative and patient-care orientated Associate Nurse Unit Manager to be part of the leadership team on our Coronary Care Unit (CCU) at Epworth Geelong.
Our CCU provides excellent care to our cardiac patients and includes our 8 bed monitored complex care unit for patients requiring close cardiac monitoring and frequent assessment.
This role is an exciting opportunity for a flexible and adaptable clinical nurse leader with recent management experience to join our friendly and supportive CCU team and grow with our services whilst being part of a supportive culture to achieve excellence in care.

Responsibilities:

KEY AREAS OF FOCUS FOR THIS ROLE INCLUDE:

Management of patient care continuum
Resource management including Human, Financial and Material
Professional leadership through clinical practice, education and ward management
Annual base salary range for full time (38 hours a week): Registered Nurse (depending on year level) - AUD$61,360 ($31.05 per hour) to AUD$82,837 ($41.92 per hour). Prorata is paid for part time
Skills & Experience

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THE ROLE YOU WILL:

Possess current nursing registration with AHPRA
Have proven leadership ability
Have contemporary knowledge of best practice in high dependency or cardiac nursing and the patient journey
Be highly accountable and demonstrate a supportive and engaging style
Have well-developed and effective cross-department relationship management skills
Have a personal commitment to ongoing education and development
Hold a post graduate qualification in critical care, cardiac care (highly desired).
