Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Associate Procurement Analyst to join our dynamic team in Hazelwood, Missouri, Seattle Washington, El Segundo, Long Beach, Huntington Beach, & Seal Beach, California, Huntsville, Alabama, Mesa, Arizona, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Ridley Park, Pennsylvania, San Antonio, Texas.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • More than 1 year of experience in supplier management or supply chain management.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher.
  • More than 1 year of experience using all the following Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
  • More than 1 year of experience preparing reports in support of data analysis.
  • More than 1 year of experience interpreting and/or enforcing contract terms and conditions.
  • More than 1 year of experience supporting IT projects that require integration across business units and/or multiple functions.
  • More than 1 year of experience supporting both internal and external customers across multiple disciplines.

TYPICAL EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

Typically 3 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities:

  • Measures key performance indicators.
  • Extracts and analyzes data from multiple sources.
  • Prepares reports.
  • Reviews procurement/planning systems.
  • Reviews schedules, creates plans and/or policies for execution of procurement activities.
  • Coordinates schedule changes with procurement for contractual changes to purchase orders and supplier incorporation.
  • Documents and participates in the implementation of lean improvements.
  • Communicates project objectives and activities.
