This role requires the successful candidate to maintain a Working with Children Check The successful candidate can apply for the WWCC as part of the onboarding process. Responsibilities
  • Leading and advancing research in trauma-informed education by initiating innovative programs, publishing in high-impact outlets, securing competitive funding, and building strategic collaborations with national and international partners.
  • Designing and delivering high-quality teaching and professional learning, including award programs and custom education initiatives, while supporting staff and students in developing trauma-informed educational practices.
  • Providing academic leadership and mentorship by guiding early career researchers, supervising graduate students, promoting scholarly networks, and contributing to the f aculty’s strategic growth in trauma-informed education and wellbeing initiatives.
  • Strengthening engagement and partnerships with industry, government, and community sectors, contributing to public discourse, and championing diversity, inclusion, and Indigenous knowledge within the f aculty and the wider education sector.
