Job Description
Our client offers various analytical testing services to support environmental investigations focused on asbestos, microbiology, lead paint, environmental chemistry, indoor air quality, industrial hygiene, and food testing. Also provides materials testing, characterization, and forensic laboratory services for a wide range of commercial, industrial, regulatory, and law enforcement clients.
We are looking for a professional expert in Supporting existing solutions, principally Desktop applications with WPF.

The successful candidate will become an integral part of our development team with an emphasis on enhancing support of our Legacy and Modern Laboratory Information Systems. The technologies range from VBA to C#, from Access to SQL Servers, and Desktop Applications to Web Applications so we’ll expect you to learn quickly, and make critical and significant contributions. The vision is to enhance the level of value we deliver to our customers through greater response to critical issues and resolution.

• Problem Management, monitoring actions to investigate problems, collaborating with peers and subject matter experts. Determine the appropriate remedy and implement the remedy as well as preventative measures. This includes modification to and maintenance of production software applications developed with a variety of development languages.
• Ownership of production issues until a problem has been mitigated or resolved.
• Collaborate with the development Team, Product Owners, and BA team to research, evaluate solutions, recommend, develop, and test the most efficient and cost-effective solution to meet business requirements that conform to our standards.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in systems engineering or related fields.
Advanced English level (B2+ - C1) with experience working with American clients and teams

5+ years of experience, being an expert in the management of:

• Proficient with C#, VB (version 5.0 and 6.0) with .NET framework.
• WPF Forms
• WinForms
• Microsoft VBA (Visual Basic for Apps) Macros VBA, Excel
• SQL Server (Transact & Administration)
• ODBC - Open Database Connectivity
• TFS - Team Foundation Server - AzureDevOps
