We are looking for an experienced Audit Manager to join our client’s team on a contract basis and oversee a range of audit engagements. This role offers a hybrid work environment, with occasional travel. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in managing audits and reviews across both corporate and not-for-profit organizations.

• Lead and manage multiple audit engagements, ensuring timely and accurate completion of all work.
• Develop and execute comprehensive audit plans tailored to client needs.
• Review and finalize audit workpapers and reports to ensure compliance with high-quality standards.
• Oversee a team of staff auditors, providing guidance and support throughout the audit process.
• Conduct audits and reviews for a mix of corporate and not-for-profit clients, including quarterly and annual financial reviews.
• Collaborate with clients to gather necessary documentation and address any audit-related inquiries.
• Stay updated on changes in the audit profession and implement best practices in engagements.
• Travel to client sites in New Jersey for audit planning and other onsite activities as needed.
• Ensure that all audit programs and checklists are followed accurately and efficiently.
• Proven experience in public accounting and managing audit engagements.
• Strong knowledge of audit standards, including experience with external audits.
• Proficiency in developing and reviewing audit workpapers and programs.
• Ability to manage and lead a team of auditors effectively.
• Familiarity with audits for corporate and not-for-profit organizations.
• Proficiency with Engagement Manager
• Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to interact with clients professionally.
• Willingness to travel occasionally to client sites.
• Current knowledge of developments and changes in the audit profession.
