SEEKING: A skilled Automotive Mechanic to work on fleet vehicles. We are looking for a long term, reliable, self-motivated person that can operate independently. Mechanical experience necessary.
FACILITY: Shop located in Port Coquitlam off Kingsway. It is a fully refurbished facility with all new equipment. You will be working independently, ordering parts needed for the job at hand. This is an excellent work environment with a great team atmosphere.

POSITION SUMMARY:

We are looking for an Automotive Fleet Mechanic to maintain and repair a large fleet trucks, vans, and trailers. Safety, productivity and efficiency are essential components in our facility.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

• Knowledge of provincial regulations
• Ability to communicate effectively across various levels of the organization and external vendors
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret documents such as a safety policies, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
• Strong written and oral communications skills
• Strong motivational, coaching and teaching skills
• Physical ability and mobility to work in a garage/shop and commercial yard environment; carry moderate to heavy amounts of weights; operate assigned equipment and vehicles
• First Aid (Asset)
