Costa Navarino is looking for a Bakery Demi Chef de Partie. The selected candidate will follow the instructions of Bakery Chef de Partie and maintain brand standards and ensure Safe usage and demonstration of all kitchen equipment, showing knowledge of all standard procedures and policies pertaining to food preparation, material storage with HAACP. They will prepare and bake different bread types, assist and oversee subordinates while maintaining adequate supply and ensures proper storage and refrigeration. They will decorate themed buffets set up and assist with the material orders and check the deliveries. Responsibilities Demonstrate proper and safe usage of all kitchen equipment Have knowledge of all standard procedures and policies pertaining to food preparation, receiving, storage and sanitation Respond appropriately to guests’ needs during the hours of operation Prepare, produce, and bake different bread types, like pretzels, baguettes, multigrain breads, sourdough, brioche, etc Decorates baked goods and themed buffets Assist the supervisors with material orders and check the deliveries Fill the daily HAACP documents with temperatures Help and oversee the subordinates with the tasks that are assigned Minimum 1 year in the same position or at least 3 years as commis chef (experience in an international 5* hotel chain will be considered as an advantage) Baker's Certificate /degree Ability to speak, write and converse freely in Greek and in English optionally Good hygiene knowledge and HACCP Standards High energy, ability to work under pressure, good organizational skills, and interpersonal skills Team cooperation skills Execute and oversees that the tasks and recipes meet the expectation Compliance with the cleaning schedule Competitive compensation package On going training opportunities Accommodation in the vicinity of Navarino Dunes (for non Messinians) Meals within the premises Private Medical Plan Use of Navarino Dunes Facilities, according to the relevant policies
