Description:

NEW OPPORTUNITIES FOR 2024 TO JOIN OUR HIGHLY SUCCESSFUL INSTALLATIONS APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAMME.

Are you interested in learning a new profession, gaining new skills and experience to launch your career with the UK’s leading home improvement retailer?
Do you have Plumbing qualifications and want to establish yourself as a Bathroom Installer through an apprenticeship?
We’re looking to recruit new colleagues onto our established 18 month programme. The apprenticeship offers a unique opportunity within the trade sector, tapping into life and trade skills with mentoring support and, on completion, a nationally recognised qualification (Level 2 Fitted Furniture).
Wickes work with over 2000 installers across the UK, and the apprenticeship programme can open doors to many great careers in the industry and opportunities for people in a sector that can be flexible around them and deliver the potential to go on to set up their own business.
During your apprenticeship, you will work alongside a Wickes Approved Installer and will be installing Wickes bathrooms into our customers’ homes. This gives you a fantastic opportunity to experience the working environment and put all of your learning into practice.
The formal training element of your apprenticeship will be delivered by our approved training provider together with a skills college, they will be focused on the technical aspects of fitting a bathroom, behaviour, customer services and setting up your own business. WEBS are a well established independent training provider serving the furniture manufacturing sector for more than 50 years.
Throughout your programme you will have a personal training officer, as well as support from your Line Manager, who can help you to plan your exciting future following your apprenticeship.
