Description:

For our office in Hamburg we are looking for a
BI & Data Analytics Solution Architect (f/m/d)

Your responsibilities

  • Design the vision and roadmap for information delivery and management; including the enterprise data warehouse, BI & analytics, data governance & data management concepts
  • Development of a strategy for the development and integration of data (structured and unstructured) and complex data sets
  • Responsibility for the further development of architectural approaches to Enterprise Data Warehousing, Big Data Analytics and Master Data Management
  • Close coordination with the enterprise stakeholders and maintenance of the data development plan
  • Definition of standards and guidelines for the data architecture
  • Lay the foundation for our Business Intelligence environment in Azure and Snowflake
  • Responsible for the entire spectrum of data management, including data modelling, data integration and data aggregation for analytical consumption and reporting
  • Sparring partner for your colleagues and are always looking for new, better solutions that will improve the work of the entire team in the long term
  • Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, etc.
  • Work with stakeholders including the Executive, Product, Data and Design teams to assist with data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs
  • Keep our data separated and secure across national boundaries through multiple data centres and public clouds
  • Work with data and analytics experts to strive for greater functionality in our data systems

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

  • Degree in (business)informatics or a comparable degree
  • Several years of experience in data modelling, ETL processes and database technologies
  • General knowledge in GDPR and regulatory requirements in the finance sector
  • Experience in Data Virtualization and in Data Integration (Integration Platform and Data Catalogue)
  • Knowledge about data transformation, data structures, metadata, dependency and workload management
  • Understanding of cloud architectures and strategies
  • Experience in Query language SQL and programming language Python as well as relational SQL and NoSQL databases
  • High Level Expertise in Microsoft Azure with all related data services (like SQL Databases, Databricks, Cloud Storages (like Blob), Cloud Datawarehouse)
  • Experience in data modelling, ETL processes and database technologies, process automation
  • Knowing the MS Office 365 Environment well with Apps like Excel, PowerBI, Power Apps, Power Automate, SharePoint Online)
  • Knowledge about big data tools: Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, etc.
  • Experience in Machine Learning
