ARE YOU THE NEXT REFUGEE SERVICES CASE MANAGER?

  • Bachelor’s degree in social work or related field and one-year experience in social services or a combination of education and experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Bilingual skill in Spanish.
  • Must have reliable transportation, a current Texas driver’s license, and evidence of auto liability insurance.
  • Advance skill of excel spreadsheet, preferred.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING IN YOUR ROLE?

  • Meet walk-in clients on designated days and hours.
  • Screen clients’ legal documentation for eligibility into Refugee Services programs.
  • Complete lead application in Salesforce and refer clients to eligible Refugee programs.
  • Upload client’s eligibility documents in lead application.
  • Provide community resources to those who are not eligible for available programs in Refugee Services.
  • Conduct assessments to determine the barriers of the client and complete comprehensive intake.
  • Empower clients towards economic self-sufficiency through an understanding of client’s responsibility for working together with program staffs.
  • Complete all necessary documentation to ensure compliance with funder requirements and agency quality assurance standards.
  • Assist with interpretation for other program staffs as needed.
  • Ensure to meet your service delivery tasks and effectively manage your administrative duties.
  • Work collaboratively with other Refugee Services members to support the overall goals of the team and coordinate services for clients as necessary.
  • Transport clients to appointments as needed by the program.
