To give a form and feel for what we have to offer and make the journey visible for everyone, we have established a new role, Brand Manager.
Brand Manager is part of our group level operations and will act as a bridge across Staria’s different businesses and territories, making sure our unique brand identity acts as a red thread in everything we do, be that here in Finland or for example in our recently opened branch in the UK. The reporting line goes directly to the leadership team and your work is supported by our local marketing professionals (who are reporting to our country managers) and external partners.
The role is based at our headquarters in Helsinki. We work in a hybrid model, which means that you are warmly welcome to our brand-new, cozy office in the heart of Helsinki city center, but you can work flexibly remotely as well.
In this role, you’ll have the overall responsibility of Staria’s brand strategy and operations. This means among others:
- Identifying how our brand is currently positioned within different markets and target groups and creating a plan of action for boosting our visibility and courageous viewpoint even further.
- Plan and execute marketing strategies, such as brand campaigns and events, that attract and resonate with both our potential customers and new Starians.
- Being responsible of the content strategy. Creating content and storylines that increase Staria’s visibility and strengthen our position as a thought leader in our industry.
- Manage and protect the brand’s identity, ensuring consistency in messaging, visual elements, and tone of voice across all communication channels.
- Plan, execute and measure brand campaigns on different channels.
- Website copy development, ensuring cohesive and compelling messaging across all touch points.
- Measuring and analysing the brand performance
Stay on top of market trends and the competitive landscape and create a courageous and unique approach for Staria, aligned with our business, culture and values.Work closely together with a variety of stakeholders internally and feel passionate about understanding the core of our business in order to plan matching activities.
What helps you to succeed in the role?
We are looking for someone with an edge. Someone who has the courage to zig when others zag - and to get people to zig with you! That’s a must-have.
In addition, we’d hope that you’ll have:
- What it takes to take the brand from vision to execution and establish a set of KPIs in order to learn and develop further.
- Strong experience in developing brands and marketing strategies in-house in an international setting.
- Background and experience from content strategy building and content creation, with an ability to build inspiring storylines.
- Excellent communication skills in English and preferably in Finnish packed with the ability to create powerful messages and stories supporting our targets.
- The ability to navigate across a variety of organizational functions without getting lost – you’ll be able to pick the valid topics from discussions and build a plan of action.
- Previous experience in building a network around brand management activities, including relevant external agencies when needed.
- Interest for the latest industry news and information, making sure we stay on top of things.
- Capability of working at a strategic level, yet you are not afraid to get hands-on as well.
- Previous experience from environments with touchpoints to our customers, CFOs, would be icing on the cake.
