We are recruiting on behalf of a leading organization in the banking sector. Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Business Developer to join the VPT Reporting team within their Finance and Risk Grid. This role is instrumental in advancing data management initiatives, ensuring full data lineage, and managing key stakeholder relationships.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• A completed HBO or WO education.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in Finance and Risk Management, particularly within the banking sector.
• Strong expertise in implementing and managing control frameworks within financial institutions.
• Excellent reporting and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex information clearly and effectively.
• Proven track record in stakeholder management and project management, with the ability to gain support across a wide range of departments within the bank.
• A collaborative approach, focused on achieving goals and maintaining control within a dynamic, Agile environment.

ROLE OVERVIEW:

As a Senior Business Developer, you will tackle complex consultancy questions related to data, data models, reporting, and IT processes. Your responsibilities will include innovating, advising, improving, training, troubleshooting, and implementing solutions. You will collaborate closely with your team, applying your deep expertise in Finance & Risk Reporting to meet objectives and deliver high-quality results. Success in this role relies on your ability to work autonomously in an Agile environment while driving cooperation across business and IT domains.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Achieve full data lineage for a variety of critical reports, ensuring accuracy and transparency.
• Lead data lineage exercises for a large number of Critical Data Elements, ensuring compliance with internal and external standards.
• Conduct comprehensive data quality control assessments to maintain high standards of data integrity.
• Manage stakeholders effectively, providing regular status updates to committees and workstream groups.
• Provide strategic input and guidance on data requirements and reporting processes, ensuring alignment with risk management and control frameworks.
