Description:
The Student Experience Programme (SEP) is one of the biggest change projects our university has undertaken. It will make things better for students and simpler for staff by introducing improved processes and procedures, supported by the new My Manchester and upgraded IT systems including Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Campus Solutions 9.2.
Working on the Student Experience Programme (SEP) within the Directorate for the Student Experience, the Project Administrator will play a pivotal role in providing support for the delivery of the Teaching & Learning “Programme Enrolment & Activity Management” (PEAM) project.
You will be assigned to the Teaching and Learning project area and will work closely with the Taught Student Course Unit Selection, Enrolment, Assessment and Progression workstream to help to deliver the PEAM functionality and associated processes. You will work closely with the Product Owners and implementation team for that workstream, providing them with administrative support and assisting in the planning, preparation and execution of business readiness activities relating to the release of the new technology and processes across the institution.
Additionally, you will provide support for the Project Manager for the Teaching & Learning project area with activities such as meeting administration, the recording and management of risks and issues, and cross-project liaison as needed. You will also liaise with colleagues across the University as required, to facilitate engagement, acquire information or other input required to contribute to the ongoing work of the implementation team.
You will have previous knowledge and experience of student administration within the Higher Education sector. With good organisational, communication and interpersonal skills, you will have the ability to work accurately and flexibly as part of a team. You must be able to prioritise a variety of work activities in a busy environment to meet strict deadlines, to work positively and professionally with colleagues at all levels, and to use your own initiative to resolve issues for the team.
This role would be ideally suited to a candidate with a Teaching & Learning background, particularly in the areas of Assessment and Progression and/or Programmes and Curriculum Management.
