About the role:
The Business Development Coordinator will be the Sales, Marketing and co-ordination support to the Organisations Team to maintain agreed commercial strategies for growth and maintenance for our individual and industry groups. This role will approach and acquire new contacts through warm calls while influencing key internal and external stakeholders and industry groups.
Led by the Insurance & Sales Support Supervisor, this role will also initiate, onboard, develop and maintain communication to ensure best customer experience along with collaborate with relevant stakeholders to organise and manage conference requirements, networking events, presentations, EDMs, advertorials and events.
Our ideal candidate will enjoy working in a busy and varied role, enjoy networking and influencing, be a confident and outgoing individual by nature and have some exposure reviewing sales reports, maintaining compliance documentation, and evaluating to identify opportunities.

As the Business Development Coordinator, you can the following day to day duties;

  • Support nationally to identify, engage and develop new business opportunities with industry associations
  • Monitor/maintain organisations email and be initial point of contact for all enquiries
  • Quickly learn and address customer pain points
  • Participate in development and execution of large project requirements
  • Maintain relationships with key suppliers, develop new relationships and identify opportunities

To be successful in this role, you will have excellent communication skills and demonstrate a confident approach when liaising with various internal and external stakeholders and customers both face to face and over the phone. You also pride yourself on being self-organised with strong time management skills.

Further requirements include;

  • Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills including excel
  • CCRM (Salesforce) experience will be highly regarded
  • Intermediate level of selling skills and relationship building
  • Building products knowledge preferred
  • Have a positive, can do attitude with the ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and evolving commercial business environment
