Description:

Rentokil Initial has an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Consultant to join our Bird Exclusion Team. The position can be based out of either our Auckland or Hamilton office. We are looking for an experienced sales individual with outstanding communication skills, persistence, resilience and an extreme level of drive and motivation.

Responsibilities:

  • Identifying, targeting and developing new and existing business opportunities, predominantly in the North Island for our specialist bird exclusion services which includes structural design
  • Providing customers with relevant information on new products, services, compliance and market/industry developments
  • Implementing market-driven and customer-specific sales strategies.
  • Developing, strengthening and reinforcing strategic business relationships with key decision-makers and industry stakeholders such as; construction and architecture
  • Surveying, specification and quoting directly to new customers
  • Maintaining and improving knowledge of the company product range, competitor products and general market information to add value to customer interactions
