Job Description

• Purchasing contact person for defined Bosch plants and locations;
• Ensures early involvement in projects & structured demand management for respective internal customers;
• Transfers and promotes Material field and Supplier Strategy to internal customer/plant;
• Consolidates the commodity needs and inputs;
• Aligns, discusses and runs projects, second source development, supply chain risk management activities;
• Supplier relationship management and mentorships;
• Annual price negotiation of regional and/or defined global supplier;
• Preparation and execution of tenders (RFI/RFQ);
• Designs negotiation strategies and conduct negotiations with suppliers;
• Preparation of purchasing decisions and contractual agreements;
• Participation (on demand) in meetings with strategic suppliers;
• Participates in global commodity purchasing team meetings and support implementation of global purchasing strategies;
• Provides input to and implement global strategies for the defined sub-material field;
• Ensures compliance requirement.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Business fluent German and English;
• Bachelor’s degree or 5 years’ minimum professional experience in Procurement, Sourcing, Contracts Management or equivalent role;
• Strategic and entrepreneurial thinking;
• Basic knowledge of the supply chain (logistics, planning, order, etc.);
• Contract and price negotiation skills;
• Project management with the capability to efficiently manage multiple projects;
• Relationship management and influencing skills;
• Excellent communication skills with an ability to build relationships with a wide array of people of different, organizational positions and locations;
• Experience in international teams and multicultural environment;
• Good customer orientation and service mindset;
• Good cross-functional collaboration and commercial mindset;
• Creation of sophisticated but also standard presentations;
• Clarity and Accuracy: Checks own work;
• Willingness to take responsibility and decisive in time-sensitive situations;
• Teamwork: Solicits inputs and encourages others;
• Problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to identify issues, develop solutions & drive results;
• Data Analysis - proficiency in Microsoft Office and able to work in a digital environment;
• Technical background beneficial.
