Tyvak International is seeking new members to join their team to support space mission development.
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented CAD Designer – protected categories (L. 68/99) to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for creating accurate and detailed mechanical designs using computer-aided design (CAD) software. This role requires a strong understanding of engineering and design principles, as well as the ability to translate concepts into precise, detailed models and drawings that meet project specifications and standards.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Belonging to protected categories (L. 68/99) is mandatory.
- Previous experience as CAD designer
- BS or MS in Mechanical, Aerospace, or equivalent degree required
- Strong mechanical background
- Ability in working with solid modeling software and FEA (SolidWorks)
- Knowledgeable and proficient in applying advanced engineering principles
- Knowledgeable of inspection equipment, i.e. micrometers, indicators, (usually acquired by machining or other precision hands-on experience)
- Proficient use of written and oral English language is mandatory
Other information:
- Contract type: temporary contract – 12 months with the possibility of extension
- Part-time (21 hours per week)
Responsibilities:
- Participate to satellite configuration and mechanical design
- Create accurate 2D and 3D CAD drawings and models of satellite systems and subsystems based on project requirements and specifications
- Support AIV for the acceptance of designed part
- Ensure all designs adhere to industry standards, company guidelines, and project requirements
- Maintain an organized database of CAD files, ensuring version control and proper documentation
