Description

Description Assists patients with activities of daily living. Provides basic nursing care to patients and assists in maintenance of a safe and clean environment under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge of the team and/or unit. Obtain and follow instructions from supervising physical or occupational therapist. Requirements ¨ High school graduate or equivalent preferred ¨ Current certification through the Louisiana Department of Health Nurse Aide Registry ¨ Current BCLS certification. ¨ Minimum of six months to one year of related work experience.

Responsibilities

Assists patients with daily living activities and provides basic nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Maintains a safe and clean environment while following instructions from physical or occupational therapists.
