Description:

OVERVIEW:

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) is responsible for the overall management of practice operations in alignment with the strategic goals, mission, and values of the organization. This executive role provides leadership in staffing, scheduling, and administrative operations, ensuring adherence to standard operations and advising medical staff and department managers. As a senior leader reporting to the President of SCA, the CEO will drive operational excellence, strategic planning, and business development.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of 15 years of senior-level experience in managing physician practice operations.
  • Proven track record in leading multi-specialty physician group practices and optimizing practice organizations.
  • Expertise in developing operating plans, analyzing financial data, and managing compensation plans.
  • Strong skills in data analysis, communication, and physician relationship management.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in health administration or related field preferred.

  • Directly supervise physician practice staff and manage overall practice operations.
  • Achieve profitability targets and recruit team members to meet patient and market needs.
  • Ensure compliance with practice management policies and optimize operational efficiency.
  • Oversee budgeting, staffing, and regulatory compliance for both administrative and clinical processes.
  • Lead efforts to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) and enhance patient satisfaction.
  • Develop internal controls for compliance and monitor adherence to legal guidelines.
  • Provide strategic leadership and represent the organization to external customers.
  • Collaborate with HR to attract and retain top talent and support succession planning.
  • Engage in business development and strengthen client relationships.
