SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

• Proven experience as a CTO or in a similar leadership role within a SaaS or payments company.
• Demonstrated success in scaling a company’s revenue from $20M to over $50M.
• Deep understanding of complex product development and deployment in a B2B environment.
• Hands-on technical expertise with the ability to code, troubleshoot, and architect solutions.
• Experience in workforce management or HR tech is highly desirable.
• Track record of managing, mentoring, and growing high-performing technical teams of 30+ individuals.
• Strong knowledge of cloud-based technologies, microservices architecture, and DevOps practices.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business goals into technical solutions.
• Excellent leadership and team-building skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to operate at a code level, assisting and coordinating debugging of complex problems.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with customers and partners.

This role requires a visionary leader with hands-on technical expertise to scale the company’s technology infrastructure, deliver innovative products, and ensure a seamless experience for clients and users.
The CTO will work closely with the executive team to align the company’s technology roadmap with its business goals and drive growth from $20M to $100M+. RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Define and execute the technology strategy to support the company’s business objectives and growth targets.
• Lead, mentor, and manage a third-party technical team of over 30 individuals, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
• Oversee the development and delivery of a complex B2B SaaS product, payroll, and payment services, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align product development with market needs and customer feedback.
• Maintain hands-on involvement in coding and architecture design, as needed, to drive technical excellence.
• Ensure compliance with security standards and data privacy regulations.
• Monitor emerging technologies and assess their potential application to enhance product offerings.
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, investors, and partners.
• Establish and manage technology budgets, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources.
