The Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced Civil Foreman to lead our highly skilled Civil team on site in the Marlborough Region. Your experience will provide the team with an environment that puts safety and quality first. This is an exciting opportunity where you will have the chance to put your mark on some high-profile projects, such as bridge constructions and your experience working with concrete, precast, and steel structures will be advantageous.

Your key responsibilities are:

  • Leading our operational crew to deliver work on time, on budget and safety.
  • Day-to-day coordination and site control of direct labour, plant, suppliers, and subcontracted activities.
  • Ensure that all work is completed in accordance with project documentation, relevant standards, and quality assurance requirements.

What you’ll bring to the table

  • Minimum class 2 license, class 4 preferred
  • WTR endorsements
  • Experience in road and civil construction
  • Proven experience in leading a crew
  • Ability to communicate clear expectations to your team and suppliers
  • Accountability for resources, including people management and supply allocation
  • A can-do attitude and the ability to problem solve
  • An unwavering commitment towards safety with a safety record to match
