Clean Energy Counsel (Remote)

THE POSITION

Our client, a rapidly growing clean energy company, is seeking a Commercial Attorney to work with their sales team.
The successful candidate will have 5+ years of experience and the ability to work in a fast paced sales environment with a relatively new sales team. This person should have experience training sales teams on contract and negotiation skills, and must use a business friendly approach while protecting the interests of the company.
The ideal candidate will have an entrepreneurial spirit and enjoy the dynamic of working with sales. For the right candidate, there will be opportunities to touch on other areas of the business as the legal organization grows.
20-40 hours per week, 6-12 months duration with the potential for a permanent role. Candidates who can work from the Washington, DC office at least three days per week are preferred.
The hourly rate for this assignment is expected to be between $95-$110. This is an estimate; an employee’s compensation will be based on the employee’s qualifications, skillset and relevant experience, specific client needs, project requirements, and other considerations permitted by law.
