SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Essential:
- Proven people management experience.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Strong stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Confident, analytical individual with a keen eye for detail.
- Self-motivated.
Preferred:
- Lettings industry experience.
- Client Accounting experience.
- Propertymark Level 3 Award.
Responsibilities:
PURPOSE OF JOB:
- Responsible for the day to day running of the Client Accounting team including the management of staff and processes.
- Establish and maintain an effective internal control environment.
- Ensure the team provide the required level of service to the business and clients.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure that all deadlines, such as end of month management reporting, statement runs, audit reports and bank reconciliations are met.
- Provide effective leadership management of staff within the department.
- Ensure that the recruitment, managing, training, development and appraisals of staff is undertaken effectively within the department and that all staff have a personal development plan with regular reviews.
- Maintain effective systems and consolidate and report on team performance.
- Ensure the team adhere to systems, processes and procedures to maintain consistency across the Group.
- Maintain a high level of customer service for clients.
- Act as the first point of escalation for complaints and queries from clients and staff.
- Contribute to the development of the department’s policies and procedures.
- Implement new processes, policies and controls across the department as directed.
- Ensure the team are kept updated of any legislative or regulatory changes that may affect the department’s processes.
