Title: Client Intake Worker
Position Status: Full-Time
Salary: $33,506.20 per year
Start Date: Immediately
Location: YMCA Centre for Immigrant Programs

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- Strong customer service, with demonstrated ability to build relationships and establish rapport with clients, staff and volunteers
- Experience using data base and multi-line phone system an asset
- Experience generating internal and external referrals
- Multilingual (Ukrainian speaking an asset)
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Self-motivated, with strong attention to detail
- Strong organizational and time management skills, and interpersonal skills
- Proficient with Outlook including contact and calendar components
- High level of initiative is needed to work independently and respond to unanticipated items
- Ability to work flexible hours
Responsibilities:
- Provide introductions and information to clients on comprehensive programming options in supporting their Settlement needs
- Make appropriate internal and external referrals to community resources and programs for settlement related needs
- Enter new intake information into data platforms
- Ensure intake forms are completed and appropriate documents gathered
- Develop and conduct basic needs assessment using Settlement Plan tool or other
- Provide front-line support to staff and client in the form of registration, attendance, booking of space as well as program delivery
- Demonstrated discretion and sound judgement in the handling of confidential information; this includes a high degree of integrity and trust
- Ensure delivery of program serve standards in day-to-day interactions with clients/visitors and/or staff to the Centre
- Respond to incoming calls, emails, and requests for information from current and potential clients
- Foster a collaborative, inclusive atmosphere in internal/external dealings and communications in support of program delivery
