  • This is a remote position in Florida.

The starting base salary range for an Client Service Manager is $51,000 to $86,000. Actual salaries will vary by geographic location and are based on factors such as candidate’s qualifications, experience, skills, competencies, and company tenure & equity. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan based on company performance and individual performance.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Working knowledge of the insurance industry and ancillary insurance products
  • Knowledge of the marketing and sales process and customer purchasing needs
  • Strong customer service orientation and skills
  • Strong detail orientation and organizational skills
  • Strong problem solving and resolution skills
  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Intermediate level MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills
  • Project management skills
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines under pressure
  • Ability to identify customer needs and work with sales staff to help identify opportunities
  • Ability to travel to support relationship building with key accounts - 10% of time
  • Ability to develop and strengthen relationships with multiple business partners

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field, or equivalent related experience can substitute
  • 2+ years of related experience
  • Or equivalent military experience
  • Active Insurance Producer license in Health & Life (must be obtained within 60 days of employment and is a condition of employment)

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as hands-on, “go-to” point of contact responsible for service satisfaction from contract execution through customer support.
  • Contributes to the service strategy for assigned customers. Develops and maintains service relationships with periodic calls to discuss needs/opportunities.
  • Serves as liaison between home office and assigned clients. Works closely with partner service and sales representatives, agencies and/or brokers to provide essential communications, support issue resolution and answer questions.
  • Provides end-to-end service resolution, handles customer escalations and provides prompt, efficient, detailed, customer-oriented service and resolutions. Researches and resolves questions and issues surfaced by customers. Engages internal teams on escalated service issues, including membership eligibility, billing, customer service, plan set-up, and claim payment.
  • May help to identify potential cross sell and upsell opportunities for existing accounts and supports the Sales team with existing and new sales opportunities as needed
  • Provides service support such as preparing reports, summarizing issues, delivering renewals and correspondence for assigned groups
  • Prepares performance reports and service performance trends for each account against the plan and present findings to leadership.
  • Contributes to process improvement efforts to better service our distribution channels
  • Other duties as assigned.
