We are currently looking for an Application Support Specialist, to assist in the deployment, configuration, and management of our mission critical software. This is a brand-new role within the team, with extraordinary opportunity for growth. Responsibilities Configuring, installing, and testing ICE server software Research, diagnose problems and communicate solutions to internal stakeholders and clients Maintain regular contact with internal stakeholders to ensure we provide exceptional customer support Ownership for issues, show empathy, and regular status updates of all open requests Work closely with other teams to find solutions to fix issues Knowledge and Experience BCA / MCA / BCS / MCS / BE / B.Tech / Any other bachelor's or master's degree in computers 3+ years of relevant experience Unix, Linux, Unix power tools, Unix scripting (proficiency of 7+ on a scale of 10) Networks and core computing concepts (CPU’s, memory, I/O) Client focused Business and financial written and verbal communication skills Troubleshooting and problem solving Knowledge of financial markets and associated terminology In addition, the ideal candidate will possess several of the following qualities: Experience in an IT technology-oriented role including but not limited to: Application support, software developer, system administrator, implementation engineer, technical account manager. Familiarity with software development lifecycle and best practices in IT service delivery. Experience debugging and writing scripts (Python, bash, PowerShell, etc.). Exposure to networking concepts (TCP/IP, firewalls, VPNs, basic network troubleshooting).
Responsibilities
The Client Support Specialist will be responsible for configuring, installing, and testing ICE server software, as well as diagnosing problems and communicating solutions to stakeholders. They will maintain regular contact with internal stakeholders to ensure exceptional customer support and take ownership of issues.
