Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and ambitious individual to join our team as a Clinical Sr Account Manager, UK , (South/ West)
As part of our Clinical Sequencing Division (CSD) European Sales team, this remote, field-based role offers a unique opportunity to support the strong growth we have within our organization. If you have a background in Next Generation Sequencing and biomarkers clinical testing market, along with a strong network inside the pathologist/oncologist environment and a great understanding of the healthcare industry standards, guidelines, and reimbursement process, then this role is perfect for you.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or related field, with relevant experience; or an MS degree in Life Sciences. Equivalent experience will be considered.
- Demonstrable success in complex selling in the healthcare market (in vitro diagnostics, medical device, pharmaceutical…).
- Proven experience in sales, NGS sequencing and molecular biology.
- Understanding of healthcare industry standards, guidelines, and environments.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and Salesforce.

Responsibilities:
- Primary promotion of our NGS clinical solutions to our actual & new customers (academic medical center, routine & pathology testing lab, hospitals….).
- Drive successful adoption of the technology within all applied markets while investigating the potential of other applications and solutions both pre-clinically and clinically.
- Responsible for opportunity pipeline management from initial contact to contract signing.
- Achieve revenue targets and deadlines by successfully implementing regional forecast and conducting regular business reviews.
- Maintain and handle accurate customer information through Thermo Fisher Scientific CRM (Sales Force).
- Craft strategies & tactics for developing existing and new businesses in targeted accounts, protecting current base business, and growing market share.
- Improve customer value and satisfaction through effectively aligning complex product solutions and services with key customer initiatives.
- Manage relationships with key Thermo Fisher Scientific collaborating partners, key decision makers…
- Sense of details and urgency approach to customers requests and issues.
- Excellent business presentation (different audiences), listening & influencing skills.
- Estimated 50/75% travel.
