Every year headspace centres help thousands of young Australians to access support and services for their mental and physical health. With a focus on early intervention, headspace services keep young people at the heart of everything they do. Lives Lived Well are excited to be opening a brand-new service in Caloundra, supporting young people across the Sunshine Coast with mental and physical wellbeing.

YOUR OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for a Clinical Team Leader to join us on in a full-time capacity to support program development and delivery. Salary for this role is $102,000 - $107,000 plus Superannuation and Salary Packaging benefits up to $15,900 per year.
The program will provide care with clinical support to young people and their families. Although the service will not be operational until September 2024, we are looking for the Clinical Lead to commence employment by mid-August to assist with service set-up.
In this leadership role, you will provide line management and clinical support to a team of mental health clinicians, work closely with our external stakeholders and provide therapeutic care to our young people using a single session model,

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

With an established career in the youth mental health, you will be a proactive, dedicated and experienced leader looking for your next exciting challenge. Your ability to think on your feet and work effectively in a dynamic, agile environment will be coupled with:

  • Significant clinical experience in provision of assessment of mental health needs, case formulation and treatment planning aligned to identified level of care needs; and delivery of evidence-based interventions in the areas of youth mental health
  • Proven ability with case formulation and treatment planning including delivering evidenced based intervention
  • Demonstrated leadership and mentoring skills – you’ll be supporting the Centre Manager with the development and mentoring of early career clinicians and working within a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills and capacity to manage multiple programs and caseloads
  • Highly innovative and creative thinking in solutions and outcomes for youth mental health
  • Highly collaborative, solutions-focused and passionate about process improvements – we welcome ideas and suggestions to make things better
  • Ability to lead with empathy and walk alongside your team members but have the confidence to engage in hard conversations when required to assist with their development and growth
  • Skills to engage and empower young people experiencing mental health concernsHolding a relevant tertiary qualification in Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Mental Health Nursing or Counselling, you will have significant experience in a multidisciplinary services delivery team and be passionate about early mental health intervention for young people.You will be required to hold a current Australian Driver’s License and Queensland Working with Children Check and be AHPRA registered or eligible for AASW registrationWhat matters most is that you’ll live and breathe our values, which means:
