We are hiring a Cloud Engineer to support the modernization of core infrastructure in a large financial institution based in Amsterdam. This is a hands-on role where you’ll help shape a secure and scalable cloud landscape using Infrastructure-as-Code and modern DevOps tooling.
You’ll work closely with architecture, security and platform teams to ensure environments meet internal policies and regulatory standards.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 3+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure roles
• Proven experience with Azure (or AWS/GCP) in enterprise-scale environments
• Strong Terraform or IaC skills (ARM/Bicep/CloudFormation also relevant)
• Experience working in or with financial services / regulated organizations
• Good understanding of IAM, network security, tagging, logging and FinOps
• Bonus: experience with Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines and policy-as-code

• Provision, maintain and optimize cloud environments (Azure preferred)
• Automate infrastructure using Terraform, Bicep or equivalent IaC tools
• Develop reusable landing zones, policies and templates
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to enable compliant cloud adoption
• Monitor cloud workloads for cost, performance and compliance
• Implement guardrails around identity, network, storage and backup
