Company:
Cloud Engineers (Linux) are needed to help design, deliver, and support Linux based services for a growing client base following internal company policies.
Main Responsibilities:
- Comply with ITIL (V4) guidelines with respect to incident, problem and change management
- Monitor, review and resolve 3rd line technical support incidents
- Training/mentoring of 1st, 2nd line engineers and 3rd line apprentices
- Embrace a Continual Service Improvement (CSI) approach
- High level of documentation skills for KB, build, install and training requirements in line with PCI, ISO27001 & ISO9001 accreditations
Skills and Experience:
The role requires a high level of technical skill in solution design, installation, management and support, in addition the ability to discuss technical issues both internally and externally (with customers) for the following technologies
- Over 4 years experience working in a similar role
- Strong Linux – Redhat Enterprise, CentOS, Ubuntu
- Cisco desirable
- Strong network knowledge including WAN/LAN topology, adding VLANS & Firewalls, TCP/IP and routing
- The ability to work under pressure
- Knowledge of ITIL guidelines would be advantageous in this role
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
