The Senior Sales Operations Analyst is a critical business partner reporting to the Director of Commercial Operations in the Instrument & Enterprise Services business unit. The role encompasses analyzing commercial data and providing insights on sales performance to achieve our annual operating plan. As an important member of the global commercial operations you will take an active role in how we deploy and manage success of strategic and tactical projects in the commercial organization!

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business, or equivalent education
- Minimum two years of dynamic data analytics or sales operations experience performing in a fast paced, changing environment
- Proficiency in an ERP environment (SAP preferable)
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, Power BI (comprehensive understanding of DAX language)
- Excellent Microsoft software skills, including the ability to read and write complicated formulas (specifically Excel and PowerBI)
- Desirable criteria includes experience & interests in AI, ML, Data Science, and familiarity with SFDC

Responsibilities:
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Engage with finance colleagues to ensure alignment on financial metrics and overarching business goals.
- Track and report performance to AOP, providing bookings and revenue forecasting
- Be responsible for the accuracy and validity of performance metrics
- Complete in-depth analysis to understand and resolve key drivers of sales performance, translate data analysis and sales metrics to guide sales execution, present findings and recommendations to the Commercial team
- Be a champion for standardization of our commercial key performance indicators, reports & operating rhythms
- Design and build executive level reports and insights to support the commercial analytics team to move ad-hoc and manual reporting into automated insights in Power BI or embedded in SalesForce.com
- Support marketing, finance, Sales and Commercial operations teams to deploy strategic projects
- Collaborate with sales leadership team to develop arguments to enable decisions in line with IES strategy, and drive the implementation of approved plans
- Build and maintain PowerBI reports
- Use SQL and other languages to leverage databases for analysis.
- Expertise in providing meaningful data analysis/metrics to sales leadership
