The Commercial Operations Manager is responsible for optimizing sales processes, analyzing data, and providing insights to enhance sales efficiency and effectiveness. This role collaborates closely with sales leadership, sales teams, and other departments to drive revenue growth and improve overall sales performance. The Commercial Operations Manager reports directly to the Senior Director, Commercial Excellence.

The Commercial Operations Manager reports directly to the Senior Director, Commercial Excellence.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 5+ years of experience in sales operations or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and data analysis tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong understanding of sales methodologies and best practices.
  • Experience managing and developing teams.

Responsibilities:

  • CRM Administration: Oversee the CRM administrator and ensure the efficient and effective management of the CRM system.
  • Process Development and Training: Develop, implement, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for commercial processes, and provide training to sales teams on these procedures.
  • KPIs and Analytics: Assist with the design and monitoring of pre-aware KPIs and analytics, working closely with various sales teams and members to gather data and identify trends.
  • Sales Enablement: Identify areas for improvement in sales enablement tools and recommend new tools or enhancements.
  • Sales Forecasting: Collaborate with sales leadership on the forecasting process, including data inputs and analysis.
  • Cross-Functional Alignment: Work with cross-functional business partners, including HR, Operations, Finance, and VC, to ensure alignment and support strategic initiatives.
  • Strategic Support: Provide support to the Senior Director of Commercial Excellence on strategic initiatives. Own projects and deliverables, from scope/requirements through final execution and monitoring
  • Process Improvement: Collaborate with sales teams to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement. Conduct process analysis and assessments to identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks. Develop and implement process improvement initiatives to enhance sales productivity and efficiency.
