Description:
We are looking for an experienced Commercial Property Manager to join a thriving Commercial Real Estate Group in Columbia, Maryland! The candidate will be primarily responsible for the property management of commercial properties, including shopping centers and office buildings. This role involves a wide range of duties, including managing client relationships, handling financial goals, and maintaining accurate records.
Skills required include Account Reconciliation, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Billing, Invoice Processing, QuickBooks, and CAM Reconciliation.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within the Real Estate & Property industry
- Proficiency in Account Reconciliation, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Billing, and Invoice Processing
- Experience in using accounting software, specifically QuickBooks
- Knowledge in CAM Reconciliation is highly desirable
- Must possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and within a team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of assigned properties to ensure smooth operation.
- Build and maintain positive, productive relationships with clients.
- Handle the collection of receivable accounts and manage operating expenses effectively.
- Regularly assess the performance of each property to identify and address any issues.
- Collaborate with accounting staff to prepare and manage budgets effectively.
- Address and resolve tenants’ concerns and issues in a timely manner.
- Visit property sites on a regular basis to ensure the upkeep and maintenance of the properties.
- Maintain accurate records of income, expenses, signed leases, complaints, and maintenance.
- Work towards accomplishing financial goals and periodically report on financial performance.
- Source new clients and build relationships to expand business opportunities.
